The Institute of Aquaculture

We deliver continuing professional development training and courses in wide variety of key areas relevant to aquaculture business and regulatory services. Most of our CPD courses are taught at Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) Level 11 which is equivalent to Masters degree level.

Health Sciences

For Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP), we’re committed to providing training to improve the healthcare delivered in the local and global community. The University of Stirling is part of The Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professions Research Unit (NMAHP RU), a multidisciplinary national research unit, funded by the Scottish Government Health Directorate Chief Scientist Office (CSO). Our CPD training courses deliver the latest, up-to-date knowledge from healthcare experts.

Continuing Professional Development in health sciences


As Scotland’s University for Sporting Excellence, we’re ideally placed to deliver fitness and health qualifications, as well as bespoke sports coaching programmes. Promoting excellence in sport, our CPD courses include ‘Management for Football Managers’ in partnership with the Scottish Football Association, and ‘Women in Coaching’.
